How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve our services
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, subscription receipts)
- To display your business profile to other users (if you are a business owner)

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate BetterServe (e.g. Supabase for database hosting, PayFast for payment processing).

Your Rights

Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

Reviews & Public Content

When you submit a review on BetterServe, your display name (the name you registered with) is shown publicly alongside your review and star rating. No other personal information is visible — your email address, phone number, location, or any other account details remain strictly private.

Businesses you review cannot access any of your personal details beyond your display name. They are not able to contact you directly through BetterServe, look up your account, or identify you beyond what you choose to say in your review.
